Alcohol Testing

Breath testing is the recommended method of testing for the presence of alcohol. The concentration of alcohol in breath accurately reflects the alcohol in the blood and can appropriately indicate the presence and degree of intoxication or impairment at the time the sample is taken.

Our breath alcohol testing devices are Intoximeter RBT IV’s, which are on the US DOT Conforming Products Lists and listed in the Criminal Code of Canada as an approved testing device. The instruments are mobile and are capable of providing immediate screening and confirmation test results. Confirmation tests are conducted on all screening tests results of 0.02 or higher.

Breath alcohol testing requires the use of approved evidential breath testing devices. These devices are legally defensible and meet all standards. ECS has the capability to conduct large scale on site breath alcohol testing.

In addition to our ability to travel to sites, we also have Breath Alcohol Testing instruments located in Saulte St. Marie Ontario, Sedgewick (Hardisty) Alberta, and Penticton B.C.
