SAMHSA Standards (Urine Drug Lab)

This 5 panel split specimen meets SAMHSA standard. The urine sample is tested in a certified laboratory with results reviewed and released by a Medical Review Officer.
This is the form of drug testing is considered the GOLD STANDARD and is generally required by producers for the upstream petroleum industry to meet contractual obligations. A negative result will be received in 2 to 3 days while a positive test result is normally received in 3 to 5 days. The variance in notification is dependent on where to collection was completed, day of week, access to courier services, etc. - Drug Lab with Express
- The same as above but also includes an express test with results available within minutes. This allows you to make timely decisions on sending or removing individuals from or to work sites. Verified results from your Medical Review Officer will allow you to make the final decision.
- Express Test
- 5 panel screening test with results available within minutes. All positive tests sent to the laboratory for confirmation testing. In many situations i.e. pre-employment, this testing allows for time sensitive decisions.
Up to 10-panel tests available upon request.
Saliva Drugs

This 5 panel single specimen collection follows
SAMHSA
proposed standards. Saliva testing allows for
convenience of use. All collections are observed and
positive results are indicative of recent drug use.
The window of detection generally covers a 12 to 24
hour period.
The Enform Alcohol and Drug Policy Model and the Construction Industry of British Columbia Substance Abuse Testing and Treatment Program Policy have provisions that may allow for this form of testing. - Express Test
- Instant saliva screening test with results available within minutes. In the event of a positive screening test, a second drug laboratory collection will be taken and forwarded to the laboratory for testing. A second drug laboratory collection is necessary to alleviate a technical issue regarding THC detection.
Hair Drug Testing
We have the capability of conducting hair drug testing based on client needs. This is not a normal form of testing in Canada. A hair specimen can provide a history of drug use for up to a 3 month period.
